When try repair the NTG4.5 or NTG4.7 Head unit, can use the NTG4.5, NTG4.7 Test bench to connect the head unit and dispaly try to start the system on bench, check the head unit electric current. If no current or less than 0.3 amp, may need the power supply circuit.
If the electric current less than 1 amp, may the data crash in the emmc chip. NTG4.5 Head unit Multimedia with 1GB eMMC chip (TOSSP48 Package type). NTG4.7 Head unit Multimedia board with 2GB eMMC chip (BGA Package type).
To program this two types of the chip, we have an dedicated adapter to program them while they are on circuit board directly, No need desoldering remove the chip.
Another flash chip 2S9JL… Should also be programmed if the head unit not boot after programmed the emmc chip. this flash chip have to remove from the circuit board put into the sockets and programmed by programmer.
